Welcome to Sapientia. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Sapientia desktop application and documentation website. By downloading, installing, or using Sapientia, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Sapientia.

License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Sapientia application on devices you own or control for your personal or internal business purposes.

You May:

  • Install Sapientia on multiple devices you own
  • Use Sapientia for personal or commercial purposes
  • Create and share workflows and configurations
  • Use the local API server for integration with other tools

You May Not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Redistribute, sell, or sublicense Sapientia
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use Sapientia to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Sapientia responsibly and lawfully. You are solely responsible for the content you create, process, or store using Sapientia, including prompts, documents, and AI-generated outputs.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Sapientia to:

  • Engage in any activities that violate local, national, or international laws in the jurisdiction where Sapientia was created or where you are located
  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Create or distribute malware, viruses, or any malicious code
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
  • Engage in activities that could harm minors or exploit vulnerable individuals
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Attempt to circumvent any security features or access controls

AI Models and Generated Content

Third-Party Models

Sapientia allows you to download and use AI models from third-party sources. These models are subject to their own licenses and terms of use. You are responsible for ensuring your use of these models complies with their respective licenses.

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by AI models may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You should review and verify all AI-generated content before relying on it or sharing it with others. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

Ownership of Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or input into Sapientia. You are solely responsible for obtaining necessary rights and permissions for any content you process through the application.

SAPIENTIA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • That Sapientia will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted
  • That any defects will be corrected or that updates will be provided
  • The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAPIENTIA PROJECT BY GODISCUS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF SAPIENTIA, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN JURISDICTIONS THAT DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Privacy and Data

Your use of Sapientia is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle data. Key points:

  • All data is stored locally on your device
  • We do not collect telemetry or usage analytics
  • You are responsible for backing up your data
  • Optional network features only activate when you explicitly trigger them

System Requirements and Performance

Sapientia's performance depends on your device's hardware, particularly CPU, RAM, and GPU capabilities. We provide recommended system requirements, but cannot guarantee performance on all configurations. You are responsible for ensuring your system meets the requirements for the AI models you choose to use.

Updates and Modifications

We may release updates, patches, or new versions of Sapientia from time to time. While we strive to maintain backward compatibility, we do not guarantee that updates will not affect existing workflows or configurations. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of Sapientia at any time without notice.

Support and Maintenance

We provide documentation and community support for Sapientia, but we are not obligated to provide technical support, maintenance, or updates. Support services, if available, may be subject to additional terms and fees.

Intellectual Property

Sapientia, including its design, features, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved. The Sapientia name, logo, and branding are trademarks of Sapientia Project by GoDiscus and may not be used without permission.

Termination

These Terms remain effective until terminated. You may terminate your agreement by uninstalling Sapientia and ceasing all use. We may terminate or suspend your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of Sapientia and delete all copies from your devices.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Sapientia Project by GoDiscus is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated date. Your continued use of Sapientia after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
